"This special announcement comes at a perfect time for our customers"

Hospitals nationwide are implementing a series of new directives for young patients, aiming to improve the efficiency and accuracy of medical assessments. Effective immediately, pediatric patients will be subject to updated requirements designed to facilitate quicker and more precise data collection during appointments.

Under the new guidelines, children will be asked to provide a verbal description of their ailments rather than relying on visual aids. Specifically, the use of the popular "FACES" pain rating scale, a tool commonly used to help children articulate their discomfort, has been modified. Patients are now expected to articulate their pain levels in words, without reversing the order of the illustrated faces.

Furthermore, a greater emphasis will be placed on cooperation during vital sign measurements. Healthcare providers will be requesting that children remain still while their temperature, heart rate, and blood pressure are taken. This measure is intended to ensure the accuracy of these critical readings.
